Saturday August 20 9am-noon – Shredding Event

Community Shredding Event  Saturday, August 20th  9am-12pm

This service is provided compliments of Brandywine Living at Dresher Estates.

Please bring a school supply donation to be presented to Upper Dublin Elementary School Students.

Caveat: Limit of 2 boxes per shredder.

March 2016 MGCA Events

MGCA has two standing events each month which welcome everyone in the community.

The 2nd monday of the month is our business roundtable group. This is a opportunity to talk about a specific business topic with other local business people.  This event is free and open to everyone. This event is held at the Beneficial Bank Campus Branch in Maple Glen.

The March 14th topic is: Defining your ideal client

The 4th monday of each month is our networking lunch. This event is held at the Brandywine Senior Living Facility in Dresher.  Lunch is included. There is a $5 fee for this event.

UD Superintendent Dr Wheeler to speak at the Feb 22 MGCA lunch

MGCA raises fund for local charities at Holiday Party

MGCA had its annual holiday party on December 21st with over 30 people attending.  The event was hosted, as usual, by the Brandywine Senior Living at Dresher Estates, The event included a catered lunch and the yearly holiday auction.  Each member brings a gift which is auctioned off to the group and the funds are donated to an Upper Dublin based charity. This years event raised about $250 which will be donated to the UDJAA and / or UD Library.  Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed either a gift or made a donation (or both!!).

Fall Candidates Forum – October 8
MGCA will once again host a “Candidates Forum” on October 8 7-9pm at the UD Twp Building.  The event will bring together candidates running for UD School Board Directors for the November election.  The event will be free and open to the public. Community Recycling offers a convenient, engaging and free environmental-based fundraiser, ShoeBox Recycling. From grade schools to Fortune 500 companies, we have helped over 2,500 organizations across the United States raise funds while raising awareness about the importance of recycling for reuse.  The premise is simple. Your organization collects gently used shoes in our branded ShoeBox Recycling boxes. Once full, you ship the boxes back to us free of charge and receive $.50 p/pound for your recycled shoes. It’s that simple.
