For the past few years Brandywine Senior Living at Dresher Estates has been a “Chamber Night” sponsor for the READING FIGHTIN PHILS. This year the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce night will be on Friday, June 7th. The game starts at 7:05 followed by a fabulous fireworks display. The READING PHILS will be playing the HARRISBURG SENATORS. The First Energy Stadium is about an hour and 15 minutes from the Fort Washington exit on the PA Turnpike. For those of you who have attended in the past you know how much fun this evening is for adults and children. Sooooooo… Just give me a call and I will set aside tickets for you. You can pick them up at Dresher Estates or I mail them. There is a rain date of Friday, June 14th. I’ll be waiting for your call at 215-591-4000 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org (Or ask for Mike West if I’m not available) See you at the game. Marge Jacoby
Save the date.. Shirley’s Run will return on Sunday August 18th.
The run, sponsored by MGCA and coordinated by member Ross Schriftman raises monies and awareness for animal safety.
The run is a memorial tribute to Ross’s mother Shirley, the subject of his book “Million Dollar Mom”.
Business Roundtable 5 will be held Monday June 10th at 8am at Danielle’s Cafe in Maple Glen. These informal meet ups focus on business and business ideas and support from like minded local entrepreneurs. CLICK HERE to attend the next Business Roundtable
Support Upper Dublin Education Foundation Day Wednesday May 15th.
On Wednesday, May 15th, George’s Dreshertown Shop ‘n Bag will host the 15th Upper Dublin Education Foundation Day. Shop n Bag donates a portion of the day’s receipts to the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, a non-profit community organization whose educational and charitable purpose is to support programs for the benefit of students in the Upper Dublin School District. Our programs include mini-grants to educators, awarding grants to graduating seniors, and the highly successful mentoring program. In the past eleven years, the Foundation has spent over $300,000 supporting these special programs along with others. While you shop, enjoy the sight and sounds of student groups performing and inexpensive refreshments. UDHS teachers, administrators, and students will be on hand to bag your groceries. Join other members of the community along with a long list of performers from all of the UD elementary, middle and high schools.
Music, Food and More… with all proceeds support the UD Education Foundation.
